On foot
- One kilometer away, in the vineyard, is the famous Moulin-à-Vent which gave its name to the cru. This windmill, built in the 15th century, continued to produce flour for the whole region until the early part of the 20th century. Mechanization could have meant the windmill's end, but for the tenacity and passion of its owner, who undertook an intense effort of restoration. Some of the best craftsmen in the region ensured that few times a year the wings of the mill can still turn.
- Two kilometers away, the Pic Remont (alt. 510 meters) where, legend has it, Gargantua emptied his basket.
- Also two kilometers away, the Montagne des Chasseurs offers splendid views of the Saone valley, the Roche de Solutré and the Monts du Maconnais and du Beaujolais.
- A marked pedestrian pathway leads from the house to these various peaks, as well as to other points.
