The heart of the training course is in the chapel laid out as an artist’s studio where each participant has his own space for his artistic research.

Monique Maday initiates ideas and themes and offers a qualified training, bringing many theoretical and practical information on the employed techniques. She also provides an individual coaching on request.

Your goal as a participant, on your level, at your rhythm, according to your personal experience and skills, will be to immerse yourself in your own creative adventure.

• First day in the afternoon : arrival and reception of the participants. First dinner at the table d’hôtes and first working session in the studio.

• From second to fourth day : working sessions in the studio during mornings and afternoons. At the end of the fourth day : excursion/surprise visit in the neighbourhood, then free evening or a meal in a restaurant with the artist.

• Fifth day : after the conclusion of work, buffet lunch . Departure in the afternoon.

The meals, prepared with local food, are shared in a convivial and relaxed ambiance.

The environment offers many possibilities of excursions if you feel like it.

After her artistic studies in Lausanne, she travelled and lived in Asia where she discovered other cultures and philosophies of life which influenced her work. You will find her work in the art collection of the Banque Cantonale Vaudoise , of the Crédit Suisse , of Nestlé and of other private collectors in Switzerland as well as in Japan in the Mori Collection and in the Laforêt Complex in Yamanako-ka, for which the artist achieved her greatest pictorial project in 1994.

Her last significant exhibition took place, one year ago, in the Espace culturel of Assens in Switzerland.

Beside her activities as an artist, Monique Maday likes to share her inspiration and her knowledge by organizing and animating training courses and as an artistic coach for individuals or companies. Specialist in acrylic painting, she also gives master classes in art schools. She is bilingual French-German and fluently speaks English and Dutch.

Tariff
The training course costs from € 652.00 to € 924.00 according to the chosen accommodation when reserving (telephone +33 474 06 77 74).

* Double room

** The suites can be shared by two participants, each one having his/her room, both sharing the bathroom.

This tariff includes :

• the training itself and the equipment for painting. The participants are asked to bring their own basic equipment (pencils, gums, etc.) according to the list they will receive with the confirmation of their inscription.

• lodging, meals and drinks for the whole stay except the evening meal of the fourth day, each participant will pay his/her meal in one of the restaurants in the neighbourhood .

• the transfer from the station of Mâcon-Loché TGV for the participants coming by train (to be specified when reserving).

Inscriptions

A minimum of 5 participants is required so that the training courses can take place and the maximum is 11 participants.

Information and inscription

You will receive, with the confirmation of your inscription, the list of the basic equipment to bring with you and, for the autumn training course, some details about the pictures of yourself.
