The house dates back to the 17th Century. It has a simple and elegant architecture, and is full of light.
It offers spectacular views over the village of Chénas, located further down the hill, over the vineyards, the valley of the river Saone and, in the distance, the Alps.

The main entrance, at the ground floor, opens up to the living room on the left, on the right, to the Suite de la chapelle and, westwards, to the Chambre du régisseur and the Chambre du vigneron.
Behind the main house are the kitchen, the pantry, an office and a bedroom.
From the main entrance, a stairway leads to the Grand'Suite and to the Chambre de l'alcôve and the Chambre de la volière.
Adjacent to the main house and accessible from one of its rooms is a chapel, built in 1809 and a vivid reminder that nuns once lived in Lambert.
In the past, the annexes were reserved for the employees. Now, three weeks a year, they are inhabited by the wine harvesters.
